Due to the increased demand, additional reservations will now be taken for the Ubon Candle Festival & Baan Khampun Silk Gallery tour.
This will still depend on the availability of air tickets, and accommodation.
An additional charge may be added due to the raise in cost of air tickets and accommodations.
Ubon Candle Festival & Baan Khampun Silk Gallery July 25th -27th, 2010
The Thai Textile Society invites you to join in a visit to Ubon Ratchatani to view the exquisite textiles at Baan Kamphun Silk Gallery, which are on public display for only one day a year.
This year it will be on July 26th. It coincides with the annual Candle Festival that marks the beginning of Buddhist Lent.
Great floats carrying candles in many shapes representing Buddhist themes will be paraded in the main street of Ubon.
We’ll also have the opportunity to visit the National Museum in Ubon, as well as some temples and shops that specialize in local textiles.
Airline seats are now at a premium, reserve as soon as possible

Opens for the public once a year on the Buddhist Lent day. The collection of silk, is housed in the private museum packed with lavishly weaved clothes.
