Mrs. Chiraporn Aranyanark is presently consulting and working with the Siam Society to appraise the state of the Society’s collection and recommend the conservation and preservation methods needed to improve the physical and environmental conditions in the Siam Society. Khun Chiraporn is a prominent conservationist and has graciously extended an offer to conduct a workshop for our members.

Some of the topics Khun Chiraporn will cover include:
Deterioration of silverware, basketry, books and paper materials, etc.
Correct care and handling of the materials
Simple repair of paper and books
Storage of books, documents and works on paper
Storage and care of photographs and negatives
Environmental control in small collections
