Chinese Minorities Textiles: From Wedding to Motherhood
Mr. Louis Sebastian OHL has an interesting and fine collection of Asian textiles. At this opportunity he will show us his selection of textiles that once belonged to the Chinese minorities of Southwest China. Among these are 19th century wedding blankets, baby carriers and items of ceremonial attire, many from the early 20th century while other pieces are of museum quality dating from the 18th & 19th century, pieces seldom seen. Several of these items were featured in Hali magazine.
